I raided on Tuesday night and everything was set to how I normally have it. I logged in on Wednesday night on Dee and all of his settings were set back to default. This includes all my graphic settings that I use for raids to help with lag, all my sound was turned on, all my color schemes were reset, and etc. I did not have any crashing problems during that 24 hour period, the only thing I did before I logged out on Tuesday was update Magelo. I logged Hakkif in on Wednesday at the same time and only half of his settings were set to default, the other half were as I had them set. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe know what caused it? This is the first time in my 11 years of playing that I have seen this happen other than loading EQ onto a new computer, I always back up my UI files and stuff. I am pretty stumped on this.
Thanks!

Re: EQ default settings
Look for alternate EQ installations. Over the years the default file path for EQ has changed multiple times. I've worked on people's computers that had as many as 4 separate EQ installations. It sounds to me like the patcher changed which folder you are using. Sometimes Windows itself can do this if your login name changed on the PC or if Windows 10 refreshed itself overnight. Although normally I only see that if someone transitioned from a local account to a domain or a microsoft.com account. You would look under c:\users and determine which named folder is the correct one.
Chances are very high the "correct" installation is still on your hard drive. Create "new" desktop shortcuts that point to the correct file path and everything should be back to normal.

Re: EQ default settings
After all that back up your UI and other setting to a thumb drive for safety.
